Vivian Dim is a Registered Occupational Therapist for over 25 years, with advanced expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation. Her interest in the complexities and intricacies of hand injuries led her to complete over 4,000 hours of advanced clinical training in the upper extremity, and in 2013 she received her certification as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission.
Her commitment to the field of hand therapy is demonstrated through her service on the Executive Committee for the Canadian Society of Hand Therapists as Communications Director. Vivian has also presented at conferences nationally and internationally.
Vivian has also been a Certified Complete Decongestive Therapist since 2011, specializing in lymphedema management in the upper, lower, head, neck and truncal areas. She has advanced training in the use of compression, is a certified garment Fitter, has certification in Lymphedema exercise, treatment of Axillary Web Syndrome, and is working towards her certification in Lymphatic yoga teacher training.
She holds a Master’s degree in Wound Healing from Western University, further strengthening her expertise in complex tissue and wound care.
At Arm More Therapy, Vivian is dedicated to providing client-centered care and works closely with individuals to restore function, reduce pain, and help them return to meaningful daily activities through personalized rehabilitation programs.
